The Legacy of Midwest UU Summer Assembly
In 1944 this assembly of UUs first settled in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and became known as Lake Geneva Summer Assembly (LGSA). Camp was held there every year from 1944-2006. Then, following a couple of transitional years, camp settled in Potosi, MO, in 2008 with the new name of Midwest UU Summer Assembly (MUUSA). Camp life continued in Missouri from 2008-2022 until we entered a new transitional period. As we search for our next long-tern camp home we've assembled in Naperville, IL and Bloomington, IN. In 2025, we'll return to Potosi, MO for a year of familiar sites and activities as we continue our search.
